These Terms and Conditions apply to all Grey Blending Transformation services provided by Julie Forbes, trading as Hair by Julie Forbes ("I", "me", "my"). By booking a consultation or transformation, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Consultation
The consultation is a standalone professional service and includes a comprehensive consultation where I will:
2. Payments terms
The total investment for your Grey Blending Transformation is £2,500, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment must be made either in full prior to the commencement of your transformation or via an agreed instalment plan confirmed in writing before your first appointment.
Where an instalment plan is selected, payment will be made as follows:
· £1250 due prior to your first transformation appointment
· £1250 due prior to scheduling your third appointment
Failure to make payments when due will result in the cancellation of future appointments.
All payments are non-refundable except where required by law or as set out in these Terms and Conditions.
3. Transformation Investment, & Cancellation
Cooling-Off Period
If you purchase your transformation online or otherwise you have a legal right to cancel, you may cancel within 14 days of making your first or full payment and receive a full refund, less any payment processing charges where applicable.
If you request that your consultation or transformation begins during the statutory cooling-off period, you acknowledge that your cancellation rights may be affected in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Cancellation Before Your First Transformation Appointment
If you cancel your transformation after the cooling-off period but before your first transformation appointment, a refund will be issued less a £500 cancellation fee.
This fee reflects consultation time, preparation, administration, scheduling commitments and the loss of appointment availability reserved specifically for your transformation.
Cancellation After the First Transformation Appointment
Once your first transformation appointment has been completed, refunds will not normally be available unless required by law or where I have failed to provide the agreed services with reasonable care and skill.
Appointment Punctuality & Missed Appointments
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Appointments are reserved exclusively for you and time is strictly allocated.
If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, this will be deemed a missed appointment due to insufficient time remaining to safely and effectively carry out the service.
In these circumstances, the appointment will be forfeited in full and will not be rescheduled or refunded.
Missed appointments, late arrivals, or cancellations at short notice will be treated in line with this cancellation policy.
4. What's Included
The Grey Blending Transformation is a bespoke service that typically takes 6–12 months to complete.

The transformation includes four appointments, with the timing, duration and treatment plan for each appointment determined using my professional judgement and adjusted where necessary depending on how your hair responds throughout the process
5. Your Transformation Journey
Every transformation is individually designed around your hair, lifestyle and desired outcome.
At your first transformation appointment we will agree on a plan and realistic expectations.
If you choose to make significant changes to the agreed colour direction or overall goal during the transformation, I reserve the right to revise the plan, adjust the investment where appropriate, or discontinue the transformation. Refunds will not be provided in these circumstances.
To maintain your results, maintenance appointments are generally recommended every 2-5 months, depending on your individual needs.
6. Hair Health & Suitability
The health and integrity of your hair will always be my highest priority.
If your hair has been compromised through previous bleaching, colouring, chemical treatments, heat damage or other factors, I may postpone or refuse colour services until your hair is in a suitable condition.
You may be advised to undertake restorative treatments before continuing with your transformation.
While every effort will be made to achieve your desired result, previous colour history and hair condition may affect what can realistically be achieved.
7. Colouring Your Hair Elsewhere
During your Grey Blending Transformation, you agree not to colour or chemically treat your hair elsewhere without first discussing it with me.
If you choose to colour or chemically treat your hair without my prior agreement, I reserve the right to discontinue your transformation as the integrity of the process and final result may be compromised.
No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.
8. Patch Testing
A patch test must be completed where required and in accordance with my colour manufacturer's recommendations.
Failure to attend or comply with patch testing requirements will result in your appointment being cancelled.
I reserve the right to refuse any services where a patch test has not been completed or where it is not safe to proceed.
9. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the outcome of your transformation and may limit my liability where issues arise as a result of information not being provided.
10. Photographs & Videos
Photographs and videos will be taken during your appointments to record your colour journey and ensure continuity of service.
These records form part of your client file.
Photographs or videos will only be used for marketing, advertising or social media purposes with your separate consent.
You may withdraw your consent for future marketing use at any time.
11. Satisfaction & Results
Every effort will be made to achieve the agreed outcome.
However, due to each client's individual hair history, condition, previous colour services and ongoing maintenance, I cannot guarantee that a particular result will be achieved within a specific timeframe.
Professional judgement will always be exercised to protect the health and integrity of your hair.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
Subject to the above, I shall not be liable for delays, cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond my reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Where possible, every reasonable effort will be made to rearrange affected appointments.
13. Force Majeure
If circumstances beyond my reasonable control prevent me from providing your appointments, I reserve the right to reschedule appointments at the earliest mutually convenient opportunity.
Neither party shall be considered in breach of this agreement where such circumstances prevent performance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Where possible, any invalid provision shall be replaced with one that most closely reflects the original intention.
16. Changes to These Terms
Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will apply only to future bookings.
Once your transformation has commenced, the Terms agreed at the time of booking will continue to apply unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
17. Privacy & Data Protection
I process personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
